My passion is making beaded jewellery, often using and expanding on the skills I learnt as a child. My inspiration comes from things I see around me, mainly from the natural world but also from the man-made world.
I love to work with colour, and beads supply this in abundance. Beads come in so many different materials, shapes, sizes and colours. I am happy to use any bead I consider most appropriate for the design, whether it is freshwater pearls, or made from glass or acrylic.
I also work with a range of wires and threads and I employ a wide range of techniques with my jewellery making, from threading a simple string of beads to knitting a wire and bead crown or tiara
