Steven Kirk.

I originate from Derbyshire and have lived in Staffordshire for 26 years.
I am a graduate in Fine Art from Loughborough, specialising in sculpture. I have followed a career in Social Work, Staff Development and HR whilst mantaining an enthusiastic engagement in my art-work.
Inspiration for my work comes from relationships between people, with nature and from exploring issues of balance, movement and time.
I enjoy working in a wide range of materials: plaster, ceramics, metal, wood and leather along with painting and computer based image manipulation. I explore the potential of the materials as part of the creative process.
Other creative activities I am involved with are, leading a social art group with Age Concern and being a member of the Singing for Fun group.
